Cancun, Mexico.- After more than a year of total renovation, Hacienda Tres Ríos hotel, part of Sunset World Group, decided to celebrate in style with the creation of a colorful mural in its Mexican restaurant, for which it counted on the participation of the Oaxacan artists Uriel Barragán, better known as Bouler, and Raúl Prieto, better known as Viejo Diablo, who were inspired by the exuberant nature of the Tres Ríos Natural Park, within which the hotel is located, to create a distinctive and colorful work. The company Blossom Cancún, an expert in event planning and production, was the link that achieved the necessary synergy to unite these renowned muralists with the hotel.
En la obra destacan motivos de naturaleza, como el mono araña, la garza tigre, el colibrí, el albatros y el jaguar, que actualmente está en peligro de extinción; todos ellos habitantes de los abundantes ecosistemas de manglar y selva que aparecen en el fondo. Cabe mencionar que, durante la ejecución de la obra, se invitó a socios y huéspedes a participar y realizar trazos de pincel, creando así un lazo de consciencia ambiental entre los visitantes, la naturaleza, y los artistas.
La ejecución del mural se llevó a cabo durante una intervención de 15 días y se ocuparon diversas técnicas, desde el trazo inicial hasta la aplicación de pintura acrílica a base de agua, capa por capa, para lograr una explosión de colores vibrantes, representando un estilo de gráfica sobre muro completamente lleno magia.
Adicionalmente, mediante una app desde su teléfono, los visitantes pueden ver cómo el mural cobra vida y se vuelve interactivo a través una animación digital, creando una experiencia completamente inmersiva, en la que los monos araña se columpian entre los árboles y las aves vuelan a su alrededor.
